well, after a long wait everyone seems to be mostly happy about the release of the new plastic DP, i've got mine ordered and apparently get it a day earlier (woudl of got it two days earlier but have moved into a new flat a few days ago and couldnt remember my new adress >.&gt

I was quite sad when i realised there where no God specific parts, which is a pain, so i was wondering about the feasibility of a small amount of conversion to make my daemon prince look Tzeentchy.

first up, wings, i noticed the wins from the lord of change have been put up for sale on the GW website, i've not seen these wings in person, just wondering if anyone new if they'd look right on the daemon prince.

Also I was wondering f there are any good options for a more avian like head for the DP, and possibility of converting a nice staff type thing.

Well, honestly, If you buy the fateweaver, you might be able to do some sweet converting for tzeentch. You could even put two heads on the DP, which would be cool

I agree as i plan on doing this for my 1k sons for a different DP.

Also, I was looking at the DP, and really, they'res not much to do with it. The arms are really specific, which makes it hard for a staff conversion or something like that.

The wings on that kit aren't very tzeentch at all, so the lord of change wings would be good. Or the fateweaver

Well it is a good idea to use fateweaver this way with just some minor modifications it could look really good. Before i was using the Ushabti Vulture from TKs and put Griffon wings on his back which works but it being a thin metal model makes for difficult conversions so both my DPs look exactly the same. So yes i do agree with you Samus.

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with using a greater daemon for a lord. They're roughly the same thing, fluff wise. I wouldn't mind using the KoS as a lashie-prince, honestly.(I'd also get to paint nipples, )

i would use fatweaver but hes what i hate most, a large metal model I really like some of the features of the new DP, looking at the picture on Gw (the one with the axe) I reckon it wouldnt be TOO hard to chnge that axe into something staff like. btw sorry if i seem a bit counter productive (or watever the phrase is :p)

I may wait awhile, (putting my Dp together as standard) and see how easy fateweaver is to put together, if its not too much hastle Ill buy one and have two DP's XD

been looking around on the GW site aswell as other forums and such, saw some ideas that made me think, people where suggesting horror faces growing out od the body, perhaps having some of the new horror faces popping out and the banner replacing the axe, a few more tweaks here and there i think i my have my daemon prince =), will keep you posted as i am now excited XD
