Love your stuff! Very inspirational! I just might have to continue on my own necromunda gang now!

Love the "two heads"-conversion! But do you really find that mutation useful? I mean, one "two heads" scavvie with two pistols will costs as much as two scavvies? I used to have two heads on one guy but got the notion that it's placing too many eggs in one basket...

Style before purpose is an reason as good as any and your minis sure got style! A was just curious if you thought of something I've missed and hope my question wasn't perceived as any form of negative critique. I guess I've become something of a powergamer in recent years though, which is a somewhat dull approach to gaming now that I think of it... And yes, I guess that a scavvie with two heads will never be as many eggs in a basket as any heavy regardless of weapon!

Anyway, your stuff is awesome!

Hahaha, as a matter of fact Baiyuan, once my two heads guy got a head injury and we always joked about the heads squabbling with each other! Guess some things are universal...

Hi, my name is Markus and I´m a powergamer ... Building a good army/gang is nothing I'm ashamed of doing but when winning is so important that it impedes ones creative output in a way that makes modelling somewhat dull I guess it's time to re-evaluate the situation.

I've actually started working on my scavvy gang again thanks to this and Baiyuans P&M blog (you both do a fantastic work )! I've been playing scavvies since 95-96 but switched to orlocks (which actually was my first gang) two years ago or so, but now I realized how much history me and my scavvies got (hmmm, this might sound a wee bit strange) and how much I missed that with my orlocks (another stalled project I might add). So after my last reply here I got this massive dose of inspiration and took up where I left my scavvies (two years ago)! And the one I started on was my two heads guy (Long John Silver & Mr Bob), and for the first time in ages it was really fun to do some modelling!

(port is nice though I prefer porter myself (thought that was what you meant at first), a good porter in one hand and a decent Islay whisky in the other will never fail!)

Aaah yes, an occasional Weißbier is never wrong (except the day after, I get a terrible hangover if I so only have a couple of them, but damn that pic is mouthwatering). I'm in to Brittish Ale and Islay Whiskey (Laphroaig being my absolute favorite) myself atm, but next time I'll buy beer I'm gonna get myself some Weißbier for sure!

Well thanks PHD, no I haven't painted them (exept for Dwain, who's partly painted), my imagination and motivation ran out and everything came to a stand still pretty much after my last post.

But now I will try and redeem myself for I have started a new P&M blog for all my Necromunda-related projects! I just posted some pics of my most recent work on my scavvies!

Lucky you I've never been blessed with a "hangover-free" period of my life, I envy all that has! I usually drink my ale cold as well, though I guess it's supposed to be more room tempered. But in my opinion, no one should tell the other by which temperature to have their drinks, it's your taste buds hence you set the temperature! I've actually seen that banana beer, but haven't tried it yet. As for Laphroaig, no I actually find it very smooth, the first time I drank it, it did feel like smoking a cigarr, but then I just started loving it (as well as whisky in general).

Ok, back to Necromunda and scavvies!

I really like your new standard scavvie, nice GS-work! I especially like the bandana, makes it look really bandit-like in a cool and a bit humorous way! Alice looks great as well, the pose and the composition is very scavvie-like, it really makes him look like a dirty mutant scum who lurks the underhive in search for swag and fresh human flesh (or anything you can eat really), and the painting is superb! I really like the name as well, it makes me think of "A Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash (a guy who became tough as nails thanks to all the trouble his name caused, one of my favorite songs by the late Mr Cash).

As for my orlocks, you haven't missed out on anything since I'm not much of a painter, I'm actually a little worried that I'll just ruin all my modelling work, but I guess I'll have to face the music someday.. But once I'm done with my scavvies I'll commit to my orlocks, I have some ideas for my cyberpunks that need to get out of my head.
