that's really, really good. I love the "vital pin", kind of like an acme sign!!! The posing, base scenery and valk stand are all really cool. I look forward to seeing gargoyles from you.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Oh dear, you had to challenge me. i realy wish i could, but i'm in the middle of finishing my fantasy army. so unless i can sell my 4000+ point ork army for about £350 ($500) then gargoyles are on the back shelf im afraid. although if i do get round to it, il make sure they're something special

Your colors on the chitin/carapace are really, really flat. You need to hit em up with a wash. I suggest Devlan Mud for the red and Badab Black or Asurmen Blue for the blue.

i've hit up the model with the washes and i have to admit, you were very right, it looks a lot better now. so once i can find my camera charger i will post pics so that i can achieve full completion on what i consider to be my new favorite model

sorry to dig up this old thread, but i didn't really want to start a new one without pictures for reference.

The dilemma I have is this, i have recently come into possession of a Heirophant bio-titan and i am not sure how i should go about painting it to fit in with the rest of the army. also i need help with the basing.

Has anyone got any ideas??

Pretty Cool idea.

Please tell that it's not finished thoe.

It's way to bland for somthing that big.

Matt Ward makes me cry.

true, i have done a lot of touch up work that has resulted in it currently having no front arms, so more work is needed. when my stuff is finished i will post pics here

the heirophant is currently built, green stuffed and awaiting a base. I shall be making the base today and would like some ideas.

please note that i have a very limited budget at the moment, so however extravagant your ideas, please make them affordable.

this is my plan for the base

and here is the terrain in the rough positions it will be in

So, my airbrush arrived today and i decided to get cracking with the painting. so after about 5 minutes i had done this

I also pretty much finished the base, i just need to glue down the chimera, and add another layer of snow flock to the rock in the back corner

here is a close up on the details of the building

Comments and criticism would be appreciated

looks amazing so far, one thing i always get slightly iffy with tho is putting buidlings on bases.

For starters it cant be used by other troops and isnt allowed to block LOS or provide cover for other mini's. The other thing is it kinda spoils the visuals for me a little as wherever the model goes it seems to drag this building along with it! lol asside from my own personal peeves tho its looking fantastic! cant wait to see the titan!! ^_^

I really like the color design you've got going for that BIo-titan...thing...amagij.

My only crit is that it needs a wash, badly.
