Well, I think your plague marine squads are pretty well outfitted.

There's very few things you can do with just the 42 points you have left over. Probably the easiest decision would be to add Personal Icons to the Plague Marine Squads, so the Oblits can deep strike on them.

Since you're so outnumbered troop wise, maybe dropping x1 Obliterator (making that one squad of x3) thus freeing up 117 points

You could then use that 117 points to get two icons on the squads, and 8 lesser daemons to summon in to help as well.

It's the quickest little boost of help I can think of without changing or droppping much, and sticking to the nurgle theme

The purpose of argument is informative discourse, not to see who finishes in front.

Why DS the Oblits? They have guns with enough range to start the hurt on Turn 1.

My suggestion would be EA for the rhinos, to get to the objectives. This would gobble up a lot of 42 points. Oh, blades too. Done.

it would work well with the "super stand and shoot look at my i got alot of lascannons and scoring units and orbital bombards im ultramarines" player im going with.

I'm just used to people liking the deep strike on oblits, just to land them in the wrong place (opponents POV) at just the right time. It's their plasma cannons and TL guns that I enjoy the most. A single lascannon pop each round from that expensive of model seems lame.

They are just really cool, super versatile units. I want to whip out a little squad of my own sometime and see how they work out.

Once again with just 40 points left. With your list your just going to spread them at random on rhino upgrades probably.

Either drop a few points for another tank/unit, or just give extra armor all around (rhinos) and maybe combi-meltas on the plague champs?

I agree there. Recent game had 4 oblits missing and failing with LasCans to pen WaveSerpents for 3 full Turns, before one managed a Stun.

Still, the anti-I plasCan, as you cited and other guns allow for versatility.

Oh, you already said that.

Looks fine for doubles
As long as he uses a lot of infantry, you should be fine. Everything you have showcases what vanilaa marines are missing, so it should be fun

Despite what people always say, the Venerable Dreadnought has always done it's job, and earned it's points back. Not once has it failed to do something.

And the Tactical Squads will combat squad in Objective based games only. If it's Kill-Points, I'm not going to offer up additional ones. Now, if I know the store(And I do), it'll be a mix of objective and Kill-Points, meaning I'll probably Combat Squad one or two.

Awesome! I agree with samus then and I'll field everything C:SM does not have; so PM's and DP's it is! now to figure out if it'll be 4 oblits or 2 defilers!

tho maybe defilers for anti horde since you can give 1 tac squad tank hunters!

I wonder who we would go up against

I liked the list in your original post - think it compliments SM nicely

Agree with how to spend your remaining points above

Having blades on rhinos with icon and Lessers DSing in is great combo - lessers can charge the turn they DS in so move 12, DS in Lessers (hopefully) dismount roops 2, rapid fire, charge.

2 nurgle princes with wings is always going to be evil.
