Your Tyrant isn't setup right as geared for c.c but slow getting there as has no fleet. If you want a foot Tyrant take dual devourers and give the Guard lash whips.
Some Hive Guard for light vehicle busting would be great.
Warriors aren't a good setup as cannot get into combat quickly. I've found deathspiitters, rending claws and toxin sacs to be decent as they can shoot and hold there own in c.c.
I don't think you need the prime upgrade as you've got enough synapse creatures but you should really take Trygons in pairs for unit redundancy.

That ain't enough wounds - you don't have enough guys on the table...
I like your Tyranid Warriors - I, too think Deathspitters and rending claws is a good load-out for them. If I were in your shoes, I'd drop the Trygons, drop Toxic Miasma on the Tyrant, swap one of the Hive Guard broods for a second Zoanthrope brood with a mycetic spore, and spend the rest on gargoyle and 'gaunt broods. Try to keep the 'gaunt and gargoyle broods around 20 strong - any more, and you have trouble maneuvering them around and through cover without bunching them up and making them targets for templates.

Mercer, this is confusing. "aren't good" and then "decent". Is there a typo?
Either way, guys, IMHO, LashWhip and BoneSword are far better than Rending Claws (though tedious in converting the models. I've got half my brood done). Also, two wee units of 3 each aren't capable of much. I'd combine them into a unit of six, or 5 + TPrime.
I run 7 to 8 warriors with LW/ BS, ToxinSacs, Deathspitters + Tprime.
I'd drop one set of Hive Guard for the necessary 2nd troop choice to fill the gap I just suggested ... 'stealers, H-gaunts ...
And for 1500, the HT looks a bit over loaded with bling; I'd remove Old Adversary & ToxicMiasma to maybe have a 3rd scoring unit.

Take toxic miasma off for sure, it's not going to do enough good to bother, but never, ever doubt how powerful rerolling all failed to hit is from old adversary. Get a decent sized mob or gaunts or the tyranid warriors, anything good and killy, keep them near the hive tyrant and you end up with a 'fist' in the middle of your army that no other army can hold a candle to in CC. Charge in, remove enemy models, rinse, repeat.

Thanks for the help guys. I changed it up a bit and added the bulk of the army being 40 termagaunts with the warriors.

I would drop one of the pods for the zoanthropes, get another one in the unit and deploy them on the table. They're just too powerful to be left to the devices and vagaries of fate and reserve rolls. For the leftover 120pts, you could get 4 warriors w/Rending and Toxin Sacs. I would also recommend trading one of the Old Adversary rules for Hive Commissar for the bonus to the reserve roll, and give the outflank to the CC Warrior unit.
ADD'N: Paroxysm is busted, you should have it on both your Tyrants.

Why you put Gargoyles in and 10 of them? What exactly they meant do do? 10 won't last long. Invest the points else where.

I'd drop the gargoyles and put two sets of TL Devs on each of the hive tyrants. 10 12" S4 AP5 vs 12x2 18" twin-linked S6 AP- shots seems pretty lopsided to me.

I thought gargoyles would be fun x]. I know devourers are good on hive tyrants but it kind of seems like it would be wasting the close combat capabilities of the unit. Also, what else could i get to fill 60 points?

Gargs are fun...if you have 20-30 of em, 10 just get vaporized and don't really do anything in the process. On the Hive Tyrant, you really aren't wasting much. You have Old Adversary already, allowing you to reroll all of your hits, which makes Scytals pointless. The power weapon aspect of the bonesword is likewise pointless since the Tyrant is a MC and ignores armor anyway. The lash whip is not that big of a deal since you will go before the majority of units. The only thing you are missing out on is the insta death of the bonesword, which if you shot the unit you want to charge with 12 twinlinked S6 shots before you charged it, you probably end up with close to the same results when all is said and done.

So i gave one of the tyrants 2 sets of devourers, added in 10 more gargoyles for a total of 20 and gave the other tyrant adrenal glands because i had 10 points to spare and had no where else to spend them.
