Sorry for the inconvinience, i"ve been thinking about my old list and decided there was plenty of things i myself didn't like about it. I took your advice and made up a new fully mechanised army list that im going to start using. As you can see i scrapped all the Grey Knights and downgraded a few things while improving others. If you have any suggestions feelfree to state them, and onceagain im sorry for the inconvineince.

The first thing I'd say is to mix up the weapons in each Sternguard squad, (4 and 1 Plasma, 4 and 1 Melta,) but that's personal preference. Doing it that way adds a little durability, since all those weapons of one type are on different targets. Each unit also gets a little bit of versatility now as well. Then again, the way you're doing it will make it difficult for an appropriate target to survive that salvo.
Don;t expect your drop podded units to live long. You only get one at a time here, which makes them pretty easy for your opponent to deal with.
I like what you did with the Honor Guard squad. I'd usually tell you that some CC Terminators would do you better, but in this case, I think you've found a niche for the underused Honor Guard unit.

The list has the feel of bloating: Lotsa added bling & options to reach a higher points level, when it's going to be more effective at a stripped down level.
Riddick40k wrote:Pedro Kantor - Attached to Honour Guard Squad
Chaplain Cassius 4^Honour Guard Squad - 4^Relic Blades Chapter Banner
I think it's too many Relic Blades**. Trim to maybe just two? Going half & half helps with wound allocation.
Riddick40k wrote:10^Sternguard Veteran Squad - Power Fist 8^Combi Plasmas 2^Plasma Guns
Again, a bit overboard with the extra choices. Maybe 4 combis? And why bother with Plasma (I disagree with Commander Endova) when the SG bolter ammo choices are generally good for everything? Vengeance rounds largely accomplish the same task. I'd trim down both units of SG**.
Riddick40k wrote:Ironclad Dreadnought - Heavy Flamer Melta 2^Hunter Killers Assault Launchers
I'd lose the HKs**.
Riddick40k wrote:Tactical Sqaud - Plasma Gun Heavy Bolter Power Weapon
Tactical Squad - Melta Gun Multi Melta Power Weapon
x3 Rhino - Extra Armour
Drop Pod -
Drop Pod - Ironclad Dreadnought Deathwind Launcher
The DW can't fire the turn it lands (Cruising Speed) so I'd toss it ** and it's not a great weapon, IMHO (short range and lousy AP).
** All these recommendations are to address the bloating in your list unnecessarily towards 2.5k. If you're comfy playing such a large game, then I'd want to see Kantor and Cass last longer, so you could spend those nearly 100 points in savings on another two HG.
You might try to see how tight your list functions at 2k, without Chronus, the ** extras, and the Dread.

Pedro and Cassius = a big points sink
Try taking Pedro and a normal Chaplain with Digi Weapons in Honour Guard.
3 man Honour guard with Relic Blades and a Rhino is fine.
Sternguard...only take Combi-Weapons otherwise you're losing the whole point of them (special ammo). And Power Fist on sergeant is an optional extra, not a necessity.
Take Missile launcher instead of heavy bolter on tac squad.
Other than that.......meh have fun.

I like the mixing combi weapons idea, and i disagree with you brothererekose, lets say your facing a terminator squad, vengence rounds cant perice there armour, and even chaos marines, i would rather shoot a gun with a higher strength with the risk of killing my own guys rather then something that will only kill them on a +4

You have the nasty package of Pedro Kantor with a chaplain and 3 Honour Guard giving you a unit that has:
12 base attacks
5 attacks for charging
5 attacks for having Chapter Banner
4 attacks for Inspiring Presence
All attacks can re-roll to hit.
3 are at Str 8 (Pedro's Power Fist)
16 are at Str 6 (Relic Blades)
1 can be rerolled to wound
That's an ouchy unit.
You also have the Combi-Weaponed Sternguard in Rhinos. These can now tackle any unit that's thrown at them. Terminators? HA! Plasma and melta death!

A few suggestions I'd make to Corennus' suggested list to you is giving the Ironclad a Drop Pod (and letting that be the only one in the list), and putting him somewhere close to your enemy's front line to muck things up for him.
Don't give him the second HF, and just leave the Meltagun on it. Give him both the HK's too. Now, if he lands in front of a vehicle, he's got a decent chance of punching through it. If you need the points, take away the Assault Launchers to contribute to it. Not many things can hit through AV 13 in CC, so negating the extra attack isn't as pressing of an issue with the Ironclad, IMHO.
Also, you can take the Extra Armor off the one Rhino that has it and contribute that towards the Drop Pod. The Sgt's with Combi-weapons are the next place I'd go if you need extra points for anything.
Personally, instead of the Sgt's taking Combi's, I'd use the points from them and take Razorbacks instead of Rhinos. Combat Squad your Tact Squads, and separate the Heavy Weapon from the Sgt and other Special Weapon. Now, you can potentially take advantage of all of your weapons every turn, with the Heavy Weapon shooting from your end of the board, and the other 5 pushing forward in the Razorback.
Good luck!

You can do the Suicide Drop Pod Dreadnought approach. But just be aware you're probably not going to survive long after your dread exits the drop pod. so ONLY drop pod him when and where he's most needed!
Razorbacks only really work if you give them lascannons. With rhinos you can have the rhino move and the tac squad fire melta gun out of the hatch 12"

This is very true. Unless you've put him somewhere where he isn't pitted against a hard hitting Heavy Weapon, he probably won't last very long. Use with caution!
Corennus wrote:

Not necessarily true. I would say that it depends on what kind of army you're playing against. And even if it's against non-horde like armies (ie - SM, SW, CSM), having a TL Heavy Bolter shooting at infantry can still be a nuisance, especially if you have 3 of them on the board.
Corennus wrote:

Also very true, but the main point I was trying to make with this, was how he can Combat Squad his Tact Squads and take advantage of all the Special Weapons he takes with them. While a Razorback isn't necessary, a Rhino can still just as well be easily used, allowing 2 people to shoot from it's hatch. I just think that with a Razorback, you potentially get more shots out of the entire unit (ie - Moving the unit 6" in the vehicle, disembarking the unit, and then firing everything from the squad and Razorback.)

I'll stick to rhinos, if i use razorbacks it tempts me to stay behind and fire instead of speeding my sternguard forward and disembarking them to take objectives

Think in terms of the long run, Riddick. You're probably not likely to get to an objective first or second turn, but even if you did, the game is still far from over. Play the "small ball" game early on, and then move in for the "finishing move" towards the end game.
Sort of like this...
Turn 1: Move 6", shoot Razorback.
Turn 2: Move 6", shoot Razorback.
Turn 3: Move 6", disembark, shoot everything.
Turn 4: Sit on objective, and shoot everything.
Turn 5: Sit on objective, and shoot everything.
I'd say by half way through the game, you should be on top of a least one objective with the Razorback and scoring unit. I notice though, that when people take the TL Lascannon for the Razorback, they do tend to just sit there and wait for enemy forces to come to them. But what's stopping you from advancing? NOTHING. Now, obviously, this is just one case scenario out of many to come, but I hope you get idea on where I'm going with this.
Anyways, if you think Rhino's would suit you better, more power to you then, bro. But both will work, as long as you play them right. Good luck!

If you're out in the open pop smoke. If you can get yourself obscured by building, hedge, other vehicle do that.
One thing to consider is a rhino train:
With three rhinos you move them in a single line. Turbo boost them all 12", with the first rhino popping smoke. The other two rhinos will get cover saves for being obscured by the vehicle in front.
Then switch the vehicle that's in front with the one behind it......and so on until you've reached your objective.
