Playing around with the idea of starting orks. I dont plan to use nob bikers but I am going to use the normal biker units with a nob leaking the way but it got me thinking as to what would be the best way to model them?

Seems like nob bikers are really common and I have never seen this question pop up before so there must be some clear easy way.

I was thinking would just taking the body of a nob box cut the legs of and throw it on a normal boy work? or would the arm holding on to the bike and the legs just look to small for the body and look werid?

Any other thoughts or ideas?

Can't you see we have been abandoned? Forget matters of duty and honor to the emperor this is now a matter of pride.

I've got the same issue. I'm guessing that like most of the range you can probably swap heads and torsos to an extent, but I expect you may need some greenstuff here and there to make up for the gaps that will occur. Or try just using extra bitz on the model with a Nob head on top.

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.
Orks are about having the toughest units on the table.
Orks are about not caring about how many bodies are left in a long winding trail until the squad is down to less than a third its starting strength.
Orks are about rolling more dice then you can count without the aid of a calculator or a pen and paper.
Orks are about having totally fething insane characters tearing gak down like Doc Grotsnik, Ghazghkull or Snikrot.
Orks are about being too fething awesome to die...

You could go for the Forge World ones, but they will melt through your wallet faster than a Melta Bomb. I would suggest you use normal Warbikers, but you add plenty of spare parts, make the engines bigger, add more barrels to the weapons, etc.
