Hi there small time member 4th time poster.
Anyway I had a question about this thing called chemical metal plastic padding, I found this in my grandfathers old tool box and wondered what possibilites this had in the modeling world, but didnt get any proper answers so I turn to Dakka and see if anyone have any ideas what to use it as if its even safe to use in modeling/conversions or the like?

Imperial Crusaders: 7,500 points

“Brothers, what we do on the battlefield is not just for our chapter but, for the entire Imperium. Every Xenos that falls by our hands will be a testament to our unwavering duty to the Emperor. Every heretic that is crushed under our feet will be a testament to our undying loyalty to the citizens of Imperial Space. We will baptize ourselves in fire and emerge as the most steadfast defenders of humanity.” - qoute from my own homegrown chapter

IT is a filler compound,
Has minor expanding propertys when setting to ensure tight fit on gaps. Used in construction and boating. Basicaly anything witha hole can be filled with the stuff.

Must be mixed like epoxy, set time is fairly quickly. Not a workable substance for miniatures as the form changes shape as it expands a little.

I also believe that its more than slightly toxic...

also, check your computers, as my antivirus just alerted me to a popup that it blocked on that page that was identified as a trojan (Trojan.Win32.Generic.pak!cobra)
