I found these rules for a lego miniature wargame... I just don't see why this isn't more popular!
All of my legoes now have a purpose:

Totally, I just love the idea of being able to make ANYTHING and have easy to use rules with it!
I am trying to dig up enough of my legos to actually have a game of this, maybe I'll post a battle report of it
I'm also loving how the rules specifically say that it is a game to be played casually not as an uber competitive as this is alwaays how I approached Warhammer 40k, it's a game for me not a job! lol
Also planning on making some motorcycles with rocket pods on them!
Anyone else have any cool vehicle ideas?

Don't kill me... but it sounds almost too disorganized. Especially how points values are up to the players. This game looks like it can lead to many arguments (to be fair though, if your playing this you probably don't care that much). Only one type of unit has actual stats. Obscure rules. Eh it sounds fun but is it worth the hassel? Can't we just move our legos around and make pew pew noises? (Oh and I dislike when anyone tries to be cute by putting "ie" at the end of a normal word. Troopie? Come on.)

@ Crazy Thang, there is actaully a whole other document with rules on modifying those two base stat lines, and it tells you that the base points for the close combat trooper (I agree with you on the troopie thing) and ranged trooper are 10pts. from there you can lower or raise stats and add equipment/special abilities. They also have a similar system for creating custom vehicles. I completly agree that their basic rules don't do a very good job of portraying the game at all, and I would agree with you that the rules are sort of just there, but you wouldn't really have a tournament with these rules anyway (although it would be fun once, just for laughs)... sorry if I went overboard and ranted, wasn't really my intention also I'm trying to organize my legoes into two distinct armies, but they are very haphazardly stored at the moment thanks to two moves... hopefully they will be in order soon! -dang it all why don't I proof read?-

You can download the 'Lego Builder' program for Lego, and get price quotes / order forms for the bits you use.
It's actually significantly cheaper to get ten little men with helmets and interesting bits to make guns and banners than it is to buy, say, ten guardsmen.

For a comedy take on wargaming, check out this lego ("minifig" for legal reasons) game:
http://www.brikwars.com/
It's been around for a while and has simple and advanced rules. Also rules for self-designed vehicles, horses/bikes, heroes.
Some very funny battle reports if you look for them. (Can't remember which now).

hmmm... after doing some research, this other game seems much more organized ie the rules are all coherent and they don't have any "rule books" which only introduce a concept, and not any rules for it.... when I get around to playing this (it's gonna require a day solely dedicated to sorting through legoes) I'll probably going to use these rules... (good job brickwars)
