I'm new to 40k, and gaming at all, none of my friends play or are even remotely interested sooo looking for people in the area that would be able to help a newbie.

What PART of ACT?

This makes a big diference.
There are multiple clubs in the ACT.
Even age groups.

The Dinosaur museum has a juniors club, for example.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Yeah. Couldn't tell by your post what age you were.
Didn't mean to imply you were a munchkin.

There's at least three clubs that I know of down there.
Canberra Games Society (who run cancon every year)
Good Games Canberra - in Conder (that's pretty southside).
ANU - who do ANUcon.

You'd probably have better luck asking on wargamerau though.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I'm quite sure at least one Canberran on the forum... I'm going off the hint that his 'Location' was 'City of Roundabouts', and that I knew he wasn't in Lismore.
