Hey guys i am starting lotr sbg.
I am going to buy rulebook, 24 dwarf warriors,dwarf command 1 or gimli advice for that welcome and a dwarf ballista.
I've though Of These two 350pt Armies.
List 1=
Dwarf Captain 60pts
Dwarf Banner 38pts
Dwarf Ballista 60pts
8x Dwarf Bowmen 72pts
8x Dwarf Shieldsmen 72pts
6x Dwarf 2h Axes 48pts
Total = 350 points.

List 2=
Gimli 90pts
Dwarf Ballista 60pts
8x Dwarf Bowmen 72pts
8x Dwarf Shieldsmen 72pts
7x Dwarf 2h Axes 56pts
Total = 350 points.

Go for list 2, it looks better (my opinion)

List two mainly cause every time you move gimli you can quote him
Turn one: Never toss a dwarf
Turn two:That still only counts as one
so on etc etc

If you swapped out the captain and put gimli in the first one i think that would probably do good long range and then when you get into combat decimate them with gimli
