help, my friend has a chaos daemons army, i have imperial gaurd, does any one have any advice or tactics that could help me? i dont have any gaurd models yet but im going to get some. i heard las guns suck against plauge bearers.

Having just gotten my butt kicked for eight weeks by daemons in a campaign (where every possible campaign addition was against me), here are a couple of things I learned with my foot Guard:

1) Valks with Rocket Pods and Vets and 3x Plasma are very hard hitting
2) Conscript blobs with stubborn were (for me) outstanding volume of fire for the points
3) An Allied Inquisitor with Sanctuary turns 4/6 mishaps into destroyed - since place them anywhere you want, place them in the Sanctuary for instant destruction
4) Good deployments will help you a lot - sounds obvious, but poor deployments were the death of me far too often
5) An Allied Sisters squad in a Rhino with Flamer/HF makes a good counter-punch

thanks dude, some advice i have for you is to get as many infantry sqauds as you can and combined them, have your company command have them do the fist rank fire! second rank fire! me and my friend were going to start a campian our selves, keep me posted on how yours is going by contacting me on my gmail at spartanred812@gmail.com. for cadian!
