I was wondering if anyone knew when GW was planning on rleaseing a plastic kit for the griffon mortar tank dont really feel like paying 80 something dollars.

Hopefully soon, I'm planning on buying three Basilisks and just substituting them. There's always Forgeworld...although, I'm guessing from that price you've already checked there...In Australia that's how much a Basilisk costs anyway! :(

Grab a Chimera, slice and dice a bit, add the mortar from the heavy weapons team and BAM converted griffon.

Ill have to agree that would be werid. But there is actually a very very easy way to make one!! Buy a basilisk kite! Then go out and buy some plastic modeling tubes! Get one that is a little smaller then the other then slide them inside each other and cute to the right length and your done!
