i may well get massivley abused for this, but here goes,

does a titan (for example warhound) really only yield one kill point? i mean there expensive in points but sureley this seems ridiculous?

ive been arguing this with a friend for a long time, i personally think its fair too play a kill point per structure point, id even be happy with a kill point per 2, and one for destroying it (making a warhound 2kp etc etc)

i dunno this may be a dumb question too ask but im not sure,

regards, baxta182

P.S. how annoying that a green tide is only 1 kill point ¬¬ yeah nice kill my 5 dark reapers for a kill point and ill kill your 120 orks, hmm.

This is how it works.

this is also the biggest flaw in the Kill Point setup(I much preferred Victory Points)

Especially as a Guard Player

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Kill points in Apoc? Why are you playing KP in apoc?

Apocalypse really, really doesnt work when all it is about is killing stuff....but yet: if you play KP then it is only worth 1.

It's Apoc, so feel free to make stuff up.

As is, however, yes, a Titan is as valuable as a Chimera.

The Apocalypse Mission doesn't use Kill Points. Victory is based on capturing Objectives.

A good way to do it, if you want to incorporate kill points, is the have super heavies worth 1 KP for each structure point.

Sangfroid Marines 5000 pts
Wych Cult 2000
Tau 2000

Apoc serves to highlight the potential unfairness of killpoints.

Why not use victory points instead?

This is probably the easiest way, and make Gargantuan Creatures equal to half their Wounds or somesuch.

Not sure how you'd deal with models that can regenerate wounds/structure points, though. Probably in the same way you'd deal with squads that can regenerate, I imagine (Conscripts, etc).

To those asking why he's using KP's in an Apoc mission, I think there are a few mission variants floating about (like in IA: Apoc 2) which use KP's.
