behind you!

hi everyone. I'm learning fantasy and I don't understand something in the vampire counts army book. It says you can have a necromancer ride a corpse cart, but I can't find where it lists how much it costs. Am I missing something? Does the corpse cart come with a necromancer? Help!

I think it means he just replaces one of the crew, you just buy him as a hero/lord whatever then model him on the cart.

If there is no points cost listed in the Necromancers entry in the unit selection (where it lists points costs and unit sizes etc) then simply buy a corpse cart from whatever section and add the necro to it.

Corpse Cart is 75 points I believe plus 25 for the lodestone/Balefire

Remember though, that comes out of your hero allotment, better to just buy a CC from Core choices, even if it doesnt count to the minimum, buying them for a necro mount leads to monster reaction tests and taking away 100 points from other vampires. And also, templates hit both necro and Corpse cart

Good point Sergeant Horse. Guess it used to be a good idea for randomizing hits on to the cart?

Can't think of any real advantages now, other than a larger footprint from which to cast necromantic spells. Which isn't much of a bonus.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”
