hey guys of dakka dakka
please help me
my shiny new reribution of scyrah model has super glue in one of the details and i cant get rid of it.
i used zap a gap super glue and i was wondering
HOW THE DO YOU GET RID OF IT!!
im in australia and need to get rid of it without desroying the model or the detail on the said model

please help me!!!

If it's made of metal, you can soak it in acetone (or nail polish remover) and then peel it off.

If it's made of plastic, then you have more of a problem. You can buy glue debonder, but I have not tested it on plastic. Other people have had good luck with soaking in Simple Green, and that's very safe - probably try that first for plastic.

The Super Clean stuff that I use to strip my models also loosens superglue, most chemicals that will strip paint will also get rid of the superglue.
