So I am attempting to do a skull white on my terminators to match the deathwing colors, but I can't seem to get a decent coating with Skull white, any suggestion on how to apply this different or make the color even. or is their a better color to use?

isn't the deathwing all white/bone? dude, prime white

For a start Deathwing terminators aren't white they are bone, so that removes alot of the problem. Next check out Jawaballs on Youtube he has a lovely video on how to paint them and finally check out this guy, he has just started up a blog so he may be able to help you.

Here's the formula that I came up with for Deathwing made easy.

1. Prime the minis in a bone color (armyPainter makes an excellent primer in that color)

2. Wash with a sepia ink

3. Paint with bone, staying out of the recesses

4. Highlight with a 50/50 mix of bone/white, staying on the edges

5. Paint a thin highlight of white on the upper edges of the armor

6. Pick out the rest of the details (guns, shoulderpads, etc.)

DONE!

Don't trust him he's a confused White Scar at heart..... only joking. I'd love to see a few pictures of this methods end result. I'd not have thought to use a sepia, the way I'd learnt was from a graveyard earth base to the bleached bone.

Use Dheneb Stone. It's a slightly greyer Bleached Bone that can cover black in one coat.
