Found this free army listing kit in some old Dakka threads (and my old Palmtop! ) , and am having a little tech trouble. I've created the file in its sister programme, The Forge, complete with rules for all the models I have. Then it's been converted using The Forge, and it's now on my palmtop, but, I can't find the software to run this thing. Anyone had any success with this, or know what to do? Thanks everybody!

Update: Found the software, and have installed that too. but after that, the thing kept freezing (no, I didn't put it in my freezer )! Then, after resetting it, i tried the app, but nothing happens! Help, and thanks again for any advice given!

Second Update: Installed AppForge Booster on palmtop, but I get these errors when I load Pocket Forge now:

This version of Booster is not licensed for ARM enabled Palm OS devices. Please contact your vendor.

Then I get...

I don't get any more freezing on my Palm now. Thanks guys.

I've found support for Palm devices to be ummm... lacking any significant presence. Have you contacted the individual that made the software for assistance? Go to the source, so to speak.

PS: what palm are you using and which OS is it running? I might be able to get this for my own palm if it works, which would be nice.

Well, i've used his support form on the site, that's dead and unread, no luck there. My palm is a Z22 handheld, apparently running palm os garnet 5.4.9. Oh, and Gavin, you can't do a list on Pocket Forge worth at least 500pts. you have to pay if you want bigger lists. thanks!

Yeah, I downloaded the Forge software and saw that shining jewel for encouraging support. I don't remember the stats of my palm (I think it's a VII...) and I need to reinstall the palm software on my PC, but I think it'll be worth the $$ to have. You might just need to get an older palm? I'll let you know how it runs on mine when I get it set up.

Pocket Forge shareware can still be found at Softpedia. as the link at The Forge site for it is broken.

This site has the AppForge booster required to run the program, but the only one that worked on my Z22 without freezing it was the last one for Palm (attached).

You can get around the 500 point limit by exporting a list from the main program, but it's still pretty limited. I have to say it looks a lot better than my handwritten or printout lists so far.
