I'm weary even with twin linked rokkit launchas with that bs 2. It seems ordinance is the one area that orks don't suffer from, I mean, minus 2 or minus 4 from a scatter will do just about the same thing as compared to other guns just not hitting their mark. Any other bright ideas?

The best way to over come okrs low BS is with more shots. I assume your refering to warbuggies or koptas. But really bs2 with a reroll comes out to be like 55.55% chance to hit. So it really isnt to bad.

But like I said more is better with orks. Thats why our basic shoota is assualt 2 or how deffguns on lootas are d3 shots.

Twin linked shots at BS 2 hit ~55%, so its slightly better than a BS of a 3. Thats nothing to be afraid of.

Most Ork shooting comes in such large numbers that even only 1/3 hitting will still cause some damage. Lets say you have a shoota squad of 30 orks. 25 of them are in range of the guns, and you have 3 big shootas in rage. Thats 50 dice of normal shots and 9 shots of big shoota dice, for 59 dice total. You will still score 20 hits with that squad, which is quite a few hits!

tldr - I don't think you should bother much with ork shooting, except flamers, since your bs 2 doesnt matter there. AF
