HQ I love my hq units, they are handy, but at the same time it is my weakness.
2x Autarch (Fusion gun and Sword, accidentally bought 2 of the same model X.x) - Great for fast attack against vehicles, especially since they get haywire grenades.
1x Avatar - Can kill Calgar in melee, which is good enough for me. My ally bsed me and attacked him with calgar.
1x Eldrad Ulthran - My favorite unit. practically killed 2 command squads of IG and 1 basic infantry squad of IG, finally died to three heroes including Marbo and Yarrick, and some guy with a Power fist.
1x Fuegan - used it 1 time, worked wonders, great combination with Eldrad.
1x Farseer + 4 Warlocks - Havent used yet.
1x Asurmen - Amazing if you have the extra points to spend on him.
troops
13x Dire Avengers and 1 Exarch - Main infantry, thinking about buying more.
10x Rangers/usually pathfinders - Basically used to draw fire away from advancing allies
8x Fire Dragons with 2x exarchs - haven't used yet...
10x Guardian with Heavy Weapon - cannon fodder
Vehicles
3x Wraithlords - can be equipped with just about any of the weapons available. An amazingly versatile unit.
3x Wave Serpents - Either twin linked bright lances, or Scatter lasers, depending on who i am fighting.
1x Fire Prism - honestly i think these things are useless unless you have the money to invest in a few of them.
Comments, and Criticisms are wanted. I especially want some recommendations. I am usually fighting IG and SM, soon i will be also able to fight Necron, and Chaos. Rarely fighting Tyranid.

Well, there are two routes you could go: fully mech or foot slogging.
In a mech army, you need 2 DA units and 2 FD units both in Serpents, led by a Doomseer.
In a foot slogging army, 3 WLs and 1 Avatar are fine. The Guardians and Avengers can walk in the Avatar's fearless bubble;
but here you need a counter-attack unit like Harlies or Scorpions.

Well, i'm not sure many people have alot of experience operating outside of the force organization chart.
Also, fire dragons are elite, and dire avengers are a maximum size of 10.
So, the dire avengers wouldn't fit into a wave serpent, as it has a maximum occupancy of 12.
As many may think or even say, this looks more like a model collection than a list, so it may be more difficult to critique effectively, since it lacks alot of synergy.

Maybe get some Banshees for fighting MEQ. Their powerswords are pretty good against them, how ever make sure their in a wave serpent and supported by a farseer if possible they are fragile so keep that in mind.
Dark Reapers are also great when fighting marines should provide you with good ranged support.
As for fighting IG. I'd suggest striking scorpions. Never tried them but thats what their technically made for so I guess you could give it a go.

The people I play with don't exactly follow force organization charts or anything (At the moment) we are really just choosing whatever we want. Some time in the future we may begin to but right now we like to choose what we want and not have restrictions.
I was thinking about Striking scorpions... I'll have to look into that further.
