Along side my ever growing Knight titan kit, and along with commission painting I am doing, I find myself lacking much in the way of a gallery for Sundered Studio's when it launches, I have a nice pile of random figures, mawloc, eldar, Xargax from Enigma, busts and a few other pieces but theres something missing.. MARINES!

Now i plan on painting in more earthy tones and significant weathering and damage, so, please pick and if none of these take your fancy and you think it should be something else, then link up and say why!

My vote: Dark Eagles or Emperor's Warbringers

--if you choose the dark eagles though I think you should tone down both the green and yellow to make it gothic and brooding. I mean seriously...they're called the Dark Eagles yet prance around in bright green armor?

yea to be honest i have a particular palette in mind, using Graveyard and Khaki, with pigment green and devland hue, battered and weathered with green and rivets and such rusted, the ceramite chipped (to grey)

I'd go with desert lions, just for the fact that you can use the new WFB elf chariot lions for some conversions. The Graveyard and khaki can go with the "desert" theme, too.

If I can't say "something else", then it HAS to be "Desert Lions"!

Yeah, I was looking at the model not the IA colour image. I've also seen a small force of them painted to high standard at my local GW, they look very cool.
