I've heard time and again that when an immobilized vehicle with no weapons left is hit with a "vehicle damaged" result, it is wrecked. I can't find any data to support this, although it seems perfectly logical to me. Where does this method of killing vehicles (destroying all their weapons, immobilizing them, and then hitting them with another weapon destroyed or immobilized result) come from?

There's just an acre of you fellas, isn't there?

Can't give you a page number, (dont own the standard rulebook) but here is the sentence...

"A vehicle that suffers either damage result when it has no weapons left and is already immobilised treats the result as 'distroyed- wrecked' instead"

Word for word.

Edit: Too slow...

Hold on. I had to re-read your post several times to make sure I'm understanding it correctly.

I've heard time and again that when an immobilized vehicle with no weapons left is hit with a "vehicle damaged" result, it is wrecked.

Are you saying that if a Vehicle is already immobilized, and has no weapons, that the very next penetrating/glancing hit is an automatic wrecked?

If so the answer is NO.

The very next "Weapon Destroyed" or "Immobilized" result on the Vehicle Damage roll is upgraded to Wrecked, but a shaken, and stunned result are still shaken and stunned.

Or New Vehicle Damage Table for an Immobilized/No Weapon vehicle:

1- Shaken
2- Stunned
3-5 Wrecked
6 Explodes

Just don't want there to be any foncusion

He clearly said vehicle damaged. Thus implying A weapon destroyed or Immobilised.

If you look at the entries for each of the damage results on pg61 you'll see they are listed as such:

1 Crew - Shaken
2 Crew - Stunned
3 Damaged - Weapon Destroyed
4 Damaged - Immobilized
5 Destroyed - Wrecked
6 Destroyed - Explodes

The bold entries above are what he's refering to.

Mattieau / Maelstrom808 I wanted to cover all the angles so that there's no confusion.

"Vehicle Damaged result" could be read as any roll on the Vehicle Damage Table.

If I could interpret the post the way I did, then so could someone else.
