A week or two ago I stopped off at a local shop which caters itself towards those who feel particularly nostalgic. Old Gameboy, SNES, Sega Genesis, VHS, et al can be found here. Now as I was browsing this store(I haven't been to this place in at least 5 years), I found a wall with both WHFB and 40K stuff. I found a lot, I mean a lot, of really old GW stuff. There were boxes of Ork stuff which was old enough to say "Space Orc" in big bright lettering on them. Old buggies, Bomba Boyz, metal Nobz, a ton of it. I play Orks so that is what stood out most for me, but there was also some old IG stuff like an old Demolisher(I think) and a small unit of IG infantry which was called something like Captian something-or-other elite command... Or something along those lines.

I thought it was sorta cool to see a bunch of this old old stuff and it got me wondering how many other people have stores like this kicking around near them? Also how big of a deal is it for some people to find such items?

Was it priced like in the 90's? Or is the store charging "vintage" pricing?

My local FLGS took in a bunch of old blisters that had old price tags on them, and retailed them for that price.. 3 months ago.

I've seen some of the old IG tank kits, but the new ones aren't that old so it seems believable that they would still have old stock. The Games Parlor stores near me have a lot of non-GW OOP stuff, though, like Starblazers Fleet Battle System minis, B5, and Starship Troopers stuff.

My LGS recently put out a ton of old 40K stuff at 25% off and that's off of the original ten+ year old price tags.

I don't remember the pricing exactly, but I think it was pretty much at the current GW pricing.

Yeah, my LGS has tons of OOP GW stuff, pretty much all in line with current prices.

On the flip side though a local hobby shop that used to sell GW stuff waaaayyyy back in the day cleared all their stuff out a few years ago for 75% off the original prices. I pretty much cleaned out the bin.
