This is my first ever army blog and I've been inspired to do it mainly because of the imminent release of a ruleset for Kings of War by Mantic Games. I haven't seen many (any?) army blogs centered around fantasy armies, so I'm bucking the trend a little bit.
Please excuse the quality of my camera at the moment, hopefully a better one will be following soon. Also, I am not the greatest (or quickest) painter in the world, so please keep that in mind when commenting

Thanks for sharing the pics My friendly local game store owner showed me some Mantic elves and undead. I thought they were very nice, I hope they make everything you'll need for a balanced army.
I think of the three races they've released to date, the elves are probably the weakest in terms of design....BUT it only seems natural, seeing as they were the first released by a brand new company. I've always been a fan of the elves in any fantasy games system so I wanted to get an army together and painted in time for the ruleset, which is 22nd October I believe
In terms of a paint scheme, I'm undecided as to which direction to take the elves in.....from what little background fluff is around for the race, they seem to be somewhere inbetween High and Dark in terms of being bitter about their fall, but still ostensibly a proud race....I was thinking a bit grittier than the usual 'spangly silver'
