Any modeling GURUs out there for a tip to keep the banner poles on the Guardian from not falling off.... Tried to pin but they are just too small for me to drill deep enough to pin well enough. Any other thoughts?

Use a pin.

NOT 'pin them' but replace the pole itself WITH a dress making pin.

My vox antennas are done this way as well as Sgt banners for my marines.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

This.

But for a banner i'd recommend brass rod so it looks a bit more banner pole'y and is potentially stronger. Or (I'm not sure how long the poles are) you could grab a wider drill bit and literally use the banner pole itself as the pin (so your basically deepening the space where the poles are supposed to go) 2-3 mm should be enough.

I'll have another look at it. the actuall model where the poles sit is raised up from the model. Drilling into it might muck things up more...
