Tired of gaming on coffee tables using books and DVD cases?

Tired of having beautifully assembled and painted armies only to have them look kinda lame when you array your forces to assault Old Shoebox Castle?

Well look no further! Push the Red Button Studios is proud to present its inaugural line of resin cast terrain pieces! Each piece is made of high quality polyurethane resin and is pressure cast to eliminate the annoying and unsightly air bubbles that plague so many custom cast pieces.

Our pieces are sized primarily for 28mm games and exquisitely detailed, so please come on by and see what we’ve got to offer!

Looks good but have to agree that the pricing is a stretch :/

Hey, thanks for the compliments, I'm pretty proud of the dragon skeleton.

I admit the pricing is a bit high compared to a lot of custom terrain, however, most custom terrain isn't cast in anywhere near as high quality of resin, or usually as large.

The dragon is just a squeak under 15" long.

Here are a few images to show size comparrisons. I'd like to think that for what you get, the price is very good.

The Tyranid thing is out of control in price since for C$61 you get http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Tyranids/TYRANID-CAPILLARY-TOWERS-3.html , it's a nicer sculpt and not small. The Dragon is ace though.

As far as prices go, time will tell, but you priced me out way out.

Mate, they are beautifully sculpted, I'll give you that.....

But Crikey, talk about dear!!!!!!

If I could afford it, I would buy some.

And hair implants, and a Ferrari, and some enamel tops for my teeth.

And Liposuction.

Alas, your sculpts are at the bottom of my list of things to buy when I win the Lottery..Sorry bud.

But I'll say it again, they do look great!

Looking good and a bit pricey as others have said. Not the most expensive I've seen wargames terrain go for though. I would include some pictures for size comparison on your website though - I thought they were downright tiny until you posted these pictures of them in games here.

Some dimensions in the product descriptions would help. Also how expensive is shipping to the States?

Just a quick tip too, having them painted professionally would make them look better.

The pieces are about 50% more expensive than I would expect. They're more expensive than GW, which is generally better quality and more flexible. That seems like a problem.

This I agree with, the level of painting of these current pieces detracts a lot from their actual beauty. While the prices are high they are NOT that high, but still in the price range of more professional and better made terrain pieces. The dragon skeleton is great but the other terrain pieces arent all that IMHO. Just some C&C mate !

My 2 cents is basically what everyone else has said.
I would love to have the temple because I think it would go well with my eldar with all the symbols and what not, but for $80 after shipping, that's just a bit steep.

Well, it is Canadian Dollars not US-$, which is a good thing for all non-Canadians, and you get 2 Tyranid terrain pieces.
Will certainly get one of these some time in the future.

Check the Push Studios site--the Tyranid sculpt comes with another sculpt of egg clusters which is even bigger than the Maw.

Love the dragon and the 'nid piece. Given their size and quality... I think what you're asking is reasonable (though on the high end).

Hope you have success, love to see what else you can generate given some appropriate "incentive".

The temple is my fav, lots of converting options with it and it's a good size. things are a little pricey, some stuff for scale on the site would be good too. something to pickup next time i want to get some terrain for my lizzies.

You have got to be kidding me with those prices. I could make everything but the dragon piece for under $5 in material and labor. Good luck with your sales, you're going to need it.

Pretty much agree with everything else said.

First reaction: WOW this is EXPENSIVE!
After: Oh ok, turns out they're on the large side. (When I saw the wooden stakes I thought they'd only be as large as the ones that come with Brettonian archers)
After-After: They could be painted a bit better . . .

So my final personal assessment is a bit on the pricey side but something I could pick up, especially if its something like the dino piece.

Good luck with your venture!!

Thanks for all the reactions everybody, sales have actually been not bad, though I get a lot of feedback about the size making shipping a bit prohibitive. I will definitely be sculpting up some small and mid-sized stuff.

I was also thinking I might sell the Alien Hive Maw by itself for only $30 plus shipping, as the Egg Cluster is the lion's share of the resin cost in that one. Would anyone be interested in that?

I will be throwing up some pictures on the site to show scale better. The main reason I hadn't was I was worried about the legal issues of showing GW miniatures in promotions for non-GW products.
