All alliteration aside, this is going to be my place to post my progress on my Flesh Tearers 3rd Company as well as other projects that I'm working on.

A little of my wargaming history, I started with a Warhammer Fantasy Battles Empire army back in 5th Edition, but was too young and lacked the motivation to finish anything. Fast forward a couple years to the beginning of 4th Edition 40k when I was introduced to the game. I started with a Sisters of Battle army before moving onto a Word Eaters army, then Emperor's Children, Eldar and then finally settled on Blood Angels. They're the army that has the most draw for me, especially the Flesh Tearers Chapter. After shelving them in disgust at the PDF that GW saddled us with, I began working on these fellows at the end of last year.

I'm not a particularly good painter. For the most part I just put base coats on and then throw some Delvan Miracle over it, but with this blog I hope to develop my skills. Though this is primarily for my Flesh Tearers, expect to see some Fantasy, Malifaux and Flames of War models in here as well. Thank you much for reading and hopefully you'll enjoy and can provide me with some feedback.

Thanks,

The Walrus

So I thought I'd throw up some of my Malifaux models that I work sporadically on. It's an interesting game and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to branch out from Games Workshop products. All told I think I spent $100 on the rulebook, models and fate deck (you can easily use regular cards instead), and I'm very happy with my purchase. The models are well detailed and are lots of fun to paint, I just wish that my painting skills could do them justice. That and I could take decent pictures.

Anyways here's Sonnia Criid, Samael Johnson and some Witchling Stalkers.

And for no particular reason, my workspace.

As always thanks for looking,

The Walrus

Looking good man, doesn't matter if your not too good of a painter, if you keep trying your bound to improve and they aren't looking too bad! They are certainly rather neat!

Also, great to see another person getting into Malifaux, it's a great game and uses great models. Hope to see more from you as you go along, great work!

I really appreciate the encouragement from both of you.

GUO, I couldn't agree more about Malifaux, my club is starting a league right now and it's expanding pretty rapidly, so expect to see more Malifaux here in the near futre.

I've been feeling lazy lately, but I managed to get these Devastators finished. I know it's kind of contrary to the Flesh Tearers mentality of get into close combat as quickly as possible, but I find a little long range fire power to be incredibly useful, even if only for distracting my opponent. These guys put me a single Rhino away from a fully painted 1500 point list!
