Ok, none of this is in the rulebook i can find or the faq's. If i have a unit of chariots, do they need to be 5 wide or 3 wide for a rank bonus? also, how many supporting attacks would i get? Setra's model comes with 4 horses so 2 have to be put to the sides. the unit entry on his page says nothing about how many horses he actually has. if he joins a unit, where does he go? on the end because of his crazy extra horses that it doesn't say he has, or anywhere in the unit and the 2 other horses don't matter?

5 wide unless told differently - as chariots are not monstrous infantry.

In addition as the general rule book doesnt cover units of chariots, you would likely only get a single supporting attack.

If Settras model comes with a different sized base to normal chariots, and he cant fit neatly into a unit, then he would go at the size. It is entirely based on the physical dimensions of the model, meaning you cant just disregard the horses...

Chariots don't make supporting attacks. Main rulebook page 86. Page 105 also makes mention of characters on chariots in units.

Characters on chariots CAN join units, as the restrictions have mostly been lifted (apart from monstrous mounts, oddly) but I didnt see anything on units _of_ chariots - which was the key. ANd if you dont have any exceptions ot the normal rules, such as bret lances, then you are stuck at 5 models for a rank.
