I'm sure like every other Ork player, we have our times where we take chances and go for the dakka kill. However, we all know how bad Ork's BS is, but when it works is it oh so good.

I want to share some awesome shooty moments and would like others to share as well.

1. Ork Boy shooting into Guard Squad.

I had moved by Slugga Boy squad around a wall to move in for a Waaagh! the next turn. My friend's Guard Squad was pretty close to aid his tank, but wasn't quite there. I start to eyeball the distance, so after some thinking I say "I'll attempt to shoot..." "You sure?" "Yeah I think maybe 2 guys can fire." "One can." "Alright, I'll go for it. "Haha, I guess." So I roll my die and roll a 6 (5 up to hit), "Okay you got a hit, 3 up to wound." I roll a 5. "Save roll..." He rolls a 2. "...Okay... he's dead" -sigh.- I smile to myself.

So I had a one shot one kill moment with a lone ork boy.

2. Lootas firing into Heavy Weapons Team.

I roll my dice and shoot about maybe 16 shots, well after all that dakka I killed a team and made the other fled. I out shot Guard on first turn, that felt great to have orks with range.

3. Lootas firing at Eldar Walkers (their version of sentinels)

Well although I never killed the damn things, I constantly kept them unable to fire or move. So while my partner who played Space Puppies move through the lines with my Boyz, I kept the fire off of us.

One time during an ApOrkalypse match (lol) I had a Warbiker Nob kill a Wolf Lord with his Dakkaguns. Said Nob had his squad wiped out and was camping on an objective under a large building and said Lord was on a Bike with only 1 wound left. The Nob hit all three times (gotta love Twin-Linkage! ), then proceeded to wound with all three, and then my opponent rolled one failed save. Pretty good for Ork BS.

Another good time was just a small-scale simulation between me and my cousin when I just bought my first Boyz box and he just finished getting his Kasrkin all put together and filed and such. I just sat in the woods and him in a trench and I just kept shooting him with the Big Shoota and he kept firing back (this was when Guard had Hellguns, so 24"), but I wound up winning. My first unofficial 40K win actually, albeit kind of dumb.

That's what we call Dakka haha, nice man.

I was playing a game against nids and my opponent moved his flyrant out into the line of fire of my tankbusta squad. 15 BS 2 rokkits later and there were chunks of flyrant raining across the battlefield.

Had two mobz of Boyz taken out by three Zoanthropes in CC, completely failing to do any damage to them with something like 120 attacks (goddamn invuln save!), only to have a third Mob gun them down with Sluggas in the following shooting phase.

I was scratching my head over that one for hours.
