So, there is an upcoming 'local gamers trade day' at my local gaming center and there are a bunch of guys whom I've already talked to about trading. Now, is there anyone who's made any Warmachine/AT-43/Confrontation to 40k conversions? And is there any way to remove the paint from the pre-painted AT-43 and Confrontation models?

Thanks!

You don't need to remove the paint from AT-43 stuff.
The paint layer makes a more than adequate primer coat.

I've done repaints from AT-43 but not for 40k. I repainted some steel troopers (UNA) for my Infinity force until I find a suitable mini in that range to replace it with.
[Infinity is another SF skirmish game in 28mm]. I needed a figure with a missile launcher (and my faction doesn't come with one for that unit type).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
