Throughout Orc and Goblin lore it has been rumored that through magic, mutation, or some other means that night Night Goblins have been able to reach stature and strength only known to that of their larger brethren the Black Orc. So with that said i give you my Night Goblin List with roided Goblin heroes.

Black Orc Warboss- Heavy Armor, Ironclaws Waagghh Cleava (251 pts)

So basically the 4 goblin units act as tarpits for the entire game, magic is covered through the lvl 4 and lvl 2, and i get some from both lores. The BSB provides extra dispel dice, and the Staff takes away an enemy PD and gives me an extra DD. Magic phase is pretty much covered. Doom Divers can whittle down and heavy infantry or any pesky regiment in general. The Big Bosses provide an extra punch for the NG units while in combat, 6-9 Str 6 attacks are pretty nice.

So like the title says all C&C welcome except the kind of your list is gay and such.

haha yea i actually do all painted up to look like spartans, i even green stuffed my skarsnik to look like leonidas.i bought 2 skull passes and traded for another 4 so i have around 300 spears and 250 bows.

How were you planning on equipping your Orc Shaman? I would like to suggest the feedback scroll. With casters able to roll 6 dice, IF/miscasts (especially Teclis) are going to be more common and the highest level spells (Purple Sun and Dwellers below) can paste huge numbers of models. So all the dispel dice in the world won't help you, but perhaps with the feedback scroll you can make him pay for his high number of dice. I can't say enough good things about squig hoppers. They are really annoying and I thought that they were going to be nerfed big time in the new rules, but against my empire army they ate through 10 knights (and I had the charge), 10 handgunners and 7 archers before they ran into one of my infantry blocks. With people fielding larger infantry blocks you might consider spear chuckas, but unless you are a dedicated shooty army, I don't see shooting as an effective way to win games. I think that the rules are written for large infantry blocks, which you have, but only the black orcs are going to concern me. As an empire player, I will march my pistoliers in front on 2 of your night goblin blocks so they will release their fanatics and my huntsmen will march in front of the other 2 blocks to release those. I will probably lose those units and you will be ahead by 160 points, but you will be stuck behind your own fanatics or you will run them over taking 2D6 Str 5 hits for each one. You will have to run them over because my 2 mortars, helstorm rockets, helblaster, 20 handgunners and 20 crossbow will be tearing up your black orcs, or which ever unit I deviate onto so you must silence my guns. I don't know if I have a solution for you, but I found fanatics to be a very frustrating asset. Each of my infantry blocks has a lord,and a hero. I am going to be in base 2 base with some, if not all of your heroes. I will attack them first and since they strike last I will kill them before they get a chance to hit me. My blocks are 7 wide (I assume that you are going 5x10 so fewer of your goblins will die each turn) so I will have 13 attacks against your rank and file. You will have 11 (you will be charging me). I hit on 3's (9) and wound on 5's (3) (assuming your nets hit me). You hit on 4's (6) and wound on 4's (3). I have a 5+ save (1) (and 6+ ward save on my swordsmen). I win but you are steadfast. I also have a detachment but let's assume that you charged them and they fled. On my turn, my characters will add their 8 attacks (5 hits) and 4 wounds to the total so you will be losing 7-8 models/turn to my 2. After 4 rounds I will have 5 ranks (I started with 44 including my characters) and you will have 4. Of course this is all theory hammer, because I'm assuming that your unit reached mine with no damage and not assisted, if I had been able to damage you or you damaged yourself with your fanatics you would be taking a break test after 3 rounds probably before you could get support and it would be my turn to move. If we assume that this is turn 4, I would have to pursue you and hope that I catch you because the chances are that you will still be on the board by the end of turn six and I wouldn't get any points for your unit (only the characters).

I used to run a themed night goblin orc shaman army, but I think that Green magic is still inferior (if not more so) to the new lores. If you take a shooty army (200 night goblins with short bows might kill something) and 12 spear chukkas and hiding behind your 8 fanatics, you might kill enough to offset my shooting up your black orcs and if you add that to the 160 from the fanatics killing my huntsmen and pistoliers you might have enough points for a minor victory. We will have to see what the 'ard boyz scenarios are first. I'm sorry that I can't come up with a better solution for you. I used to play O&G but the odds are so much against them. If it's any consolation, it would be worse against a dwarf gun line. There's always the 60 squig hopper army. It's only $360.00

If are just using the NG Big Bosses for cheap GW attacks, why not go with a common Goblin Big Boss w/GW. When you place them in your units they can use Ld 7 instead of Ld 6, when away from the General.

Since you are striking last anyway the extra point of I doesnt do you any good.
