I think Luna mentioned this a while back. I have been watching a few auctions and picking up a few mini's here and there. There has been a distinct attempt by a few people to start pushing the prices up and some have starting prices significantly higher than their original purchase price - fire elemental for $25 for example. Often the have a straight buy it at this price - not an auction format. Many of them aren't selling so I think they have misjudged the market price - but things like devourers are going for a very health price.

Finding decent models to paint at a reasonable price is starting to get difficult so I may have to start buying and paint what I own and that is just not right!

Hi mate, as you probably know Rackham metals were sold to Ludik bazar store... you can find some metals there at very nice prices but the catalog is getting shorter and shorter...
WIth some miniatures getting really hard to find some folks try to cashin the rarity of the items and I believe you will see something similar to what is happening to Ilyad miniatures that you buy some minis for 100 euros since they are extremelly rare.
