I have a question about the charging distance of bikes. The rulebook does not say directly in the "bikes" section. However, in the assault phase section, it says that most units charge 6" and thus we could assume that bikes charge 6". On the other hand, the "jump infantry" section says that jump infantry only charges 6" because they charge on foot. Bikers probably do not get of their bikes and walk them into CC, so we could assume they charge 12".

Also supporting 12" charge, but not very legitimate, is the fact that bikes wouldn't be quit as special without a 12" charge. And I really want my bikes to charge 12"

Bikes do not charge 12". As much as I would like them to, they unfortunately do not.

While nothing supports that they do NOT get to charge 12", the ruling under "Assaulting" states that units get to assault up to 6".

"This One Is Rurouni... Once Again, This One Will Drift..."
"Rushing towards danger without hesitation isn't recklessness, but bravery... And avoiding danger when there's a chance for victory isn't precaution, but cowardice..."
"I can only go forward."

While the bike entry lacks any statement of charging whereas the Jump infantry section does; this does not mean Bikes Charge 12".

Bikes follow Normal Infantry Charge rules because they have no special rules detailing any other charge distance.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

it's kind of like, if it's not explicitly stated the difference, it's considered to be infantry rules.

I think I remember that they mention it in the bike rules, they charge as infantry but is not slowed by terrain (takes DT as normal though)

But I might be wrong, at school at the moment...

However, if I use this -><- I might just mock you.

which gets even weirder, seeing how you americans tend to use [the F-word] more often in various meanings than a smurf would use "smurf".

Nearly a quote except the censorship.

They take DANGEROUS terrain tests, not Difficult terrain tests, so can charge the 6" into terrain (and crash into walls and rubble and die - like mine tend to.)
