Hello & good morning to you all!

I've only ever done Space Marine chapters usually 500 - 1000 points.
There's something about the way they look that just gets me going y'know?

Then when i heard they were re-doing the Chaos models i told myself it was time for a change of pace.. (Sorta..)
I did alot of background checking & in the end the Iron Warriors took my intrest. (Little did i know each of the Legions had their Special Rules tossed out the window....dang!)

So anyway i gave a stab at the Iron Warriors & after much trial & error i finally come up with a scheme i like. It's not 100% finished... More like 80% heh.
Here's some pictures.

I expect mass criticism they are my first Chaos army.

The Army (There's a Defiler still to be painted & a Chaos Vindicator that never made the shot)

Over-head Shot of the Rhino

Over-head Shot of the second Daemon Prince

Side-shot of the Daemon Prince

More incoming !!

Continuing from my First Post!

Over-head of Rhino & Troops

Front View of Troops

Front View of Terminators

Front View of Vindicator

As previously mentioned they are not 100% finished. I know alot of you are going to mention the chevrons on weapons, legs etc etc. That'll probably be my next target. Although i won't go with the traditional Yellow/Black mix. I'll go with the Gold/Black mix same as i have done with the Vehicles.

Thanks for taking the time to read & express your opinions on this thread.

Isirith.

Awesome painting!

I always like the Iron Warriors and their solid fluff.

I've sold so many armies. :(

I like the use of gold in the place of yellow in your hazard stripes, but some of it looks a bit splotchy. I'd recommend going over the gold areas with a few thin coats of the same colour to get even coverage.
Other than that, though, these guys look pretty cool!

Thanks for the replies!

Also thanks for the advice. You might not believe it but i'm colourblind not to an extreme condition where i see everything black & white...but enough that i can't tell the difference between Blue's & Pinks, Red's & Browns, Yellow's & Oranges. Boltgun, Chainmail & Mithril Silver are also hard for me to tell apart.

I'll be sure to go over the Gold's again. (Gotta do them for the marines anyway )

Great looking army mate, just the destroyer shield carrying daemon prince that doesn't convince me

Wanted to give him a big ol' full body shield if that makes sense?
But i definetly don't have the parts for it. So i just bung'd the first thing i found on there. Looking at it now.. It could of easily done with some green stuff & looking abit more Chaosy.

Got any ideas for a Shield Ferrum?

So some DP grabbed a defeated enemy and used him as a shield!

Tapping into the power of the warp, preventing it from phasing out...

Or something like that!

Maybe if it were a bit more 'beat up' looking?
