Any body find preferences or problems with the new model? I'm about to start cutting sprues ....

Such an open ended question...

Could you be a bit more specific?

Some of the pieces left a bit of a gap at the seam, but nothing major at all. Nothing a tiny bit of greenstuff won't fix. Other than that, it's a fantastic sculpt, and goes together beautifully. I'm about 1/2 done painting mine now. (Taking WIP pics, too).

Well, for example, take the LRC Hurricane Sponsons ... Kick-it (sp?) is really nice when putting the dual bolter assembly together with Super-glue. A nice hint *after* I spent some time with nail-polish remover soaking my fingers apart.

Oblits: They don't have an assault cannon option, but it's there in the kit. Gaps in their bellies (easy green stuff fix, but I wouldn't have known that a few years ago)

The Plas/Las-Can heavy bolter Space Marine - gaps and a need of a third hand to hold the buggers together (4 pieces) while the glue sets.

Broadsides.

Not gluing Crisis Suit weps and doing the REM conversions instead.

That sort of thing. After 5 years of 40k, I know certain models have parculiarities in assembly, and neat little ... insights (?) into making them easier to put together. I'm looking for that little insight before I put this guy together.

Ah, good points!

And, much more clear now too, so thanks!
