Subject: Calgary FLGS? Clubs?

I am in the Calgary area with a Necron army i bought before I moved here(about 1800 points). I need someone to play with because I feel this is all going to waste  . I'm reading the rule book but I have no idea where to start, how to find someone to play with, and where to go. I have called "The Sentry Box" for anyone who knows what that is, and they person said that it wasn't a "club" but he has "terrain" there to play with. I have no idea what to do...

We usually do. Like, this Sunday, a lot of people were busy, so no one was able to go, but generally, Sunday is game day. There's another person on this forum (there are others, but from what I've seen, he seems to be the most active other than me), Twalks, who I usually go for the last word.
As for newbies, I was still a newb when I played my first game there, I still am (I'm going to be honest, I'm one of those hobbyist losers ), but so long as you have a decent head on yourself and have a basic grasp of the rules, it won't be hard to accomodate.
Although I only have three weeks left before I leave for Lethbridge for university.

Sweet, so I can go there every Sunday and expect a game? or are there only like you and 1-2 others who go there? GL on university BTW. As for posting this in the wrong section, sorry, I'm new.

Well, it really depends. Sometimes, it's just 2 or 3 of us, sometimes, it's 6 or more. I try to go every week if I know there'll be someone there, but if I can't get confirmation that at least another person's going, I won't go. Of course, it only happens rarely that EVERYONE can't come. I'd say PM Twalks or me fairly late in the week. I'd give you the email addresses of everyone, since we tend to do a lot of communication through MSN, but I'm not sure if that would be okay with everyone else (I'm sure it's not an issue, but everyone deserves their privacy).
I'll PM you with my information later.
