Well the story so far is 1 painted model anyway

So, the idea behind this army is a `build one, get one free` deal on 40k armies, I want a daemons of chaos army that can also be legally used as an eldar army so I am running with the fluff from the daemons codex where the craftworld is destroyed by chaos...

However in my army the daemons then possess and reanimate the bodies and vehicles of the fallen eldar meaning I can go a bit mad with conversions!

So to start, I have a daemon prince of slaanesh which is also usable as a wraithlord and I currently have ready to paint a unit of 10 horrors which can also be used as dire avengers. Sneaky eh?

Anyway, on with the pics, C&C always welcome!

Well I'm English and Scottish, and my dad grew up in Newcastle, but his dad was a blue so the blue blood still flows.

are you going to use magnets to give the big guy a weapon when he decides to have an eldar kind of day?

Is it going to be all kinds of chaos, or will you focus on one or two gods?

I'm very interested to see what you do with the vehicles -- do you some ideas yet?

Nope, he will be counted as having a wraithsword (obviously!) and a brightlance (frickin laser eyes!)

I do indeed! I have started building 2 new fire prism tanks that will also `count as` soul grinders...

The painting and modeling are great, but I'm having trouble figuring out just what is going on with that wraithlord.

Really like the blue-to-purple transition.

Looks awesome but it's a very 'busy' model...Probably the sort that looks 20x better in person..and it looks great in the pics!

update: 10 horrors built and ready to paint. the blue on the dire avenger parts is getting changed, I really dont like blue eldar

Wow these are phenominal! The colors on the Wraithlord are fantastic! I'm going to keep a close eye on this topic.
