These look like well-done conversions, but my one concern is that the roller looks like it's cardboard, and cardboard doesn't paint well at all. I'd suggest replacing it with another material. Alternatively, you could use something sitting around your house, like the tube GW superglue comies in, or some sheet styrene, maybe?

For the deff rolla use pvc or abs tubing for something that small you might even get it free or next to nothing at a hardware store cut off bin
