Well there are 2 list I made for a IG theme army.(I am keeping death strike for the lolz)
Here we go both going around a gun line. I am thinking for the 2nd list to just take infantry and the doomsday device.

1st list

HQ Iron Hand,medic 3 meltas.

Sly

1 Platoon command Commissar melta bomb 4 plasma guns.

5 troop 1 melta a squad

2 heavy weapon teams 3 autocannons
2 heavy weapon teams 3 lascannons

2 vets 3 meltas
2 chimeras ml,hf

2 russes hb
1 death strike (fluff dooms day device)



2nd list

HQ Iron hand command 3 meltas medic

sly

All doubled in ()

(2)platoon command commissar 4 plasma guns

(10) Infantry squads a melta in each

(4) special weapon squads 2 flamer 1 demo charge

2 Heavy weapon squads 3 autocannons
1 heavy weapon squads 3 lascannons

1 death strike(dooms day device)

No Ideas I will just assume its decent and depends on what I play.

Umm, I guess I like the first list better, but both of them need some work. For example, the commissar and meltabombs in the PCS shouldn't be there, and SHOULD be in a PIS to make a blob out of your infantry. Also, there is no reason whatsoever for you to be wasting points on straken. Either retool your list to actually make use of him, or drop him alltogether in favor of a third mechvet squad.

Well I kinda beg to differ on Iron hand he is a front line commander and actually really good at combat. What is your reasoning on not using him ? I would like to know.
I as well like the 1st alot better, but I mean if I where to drop iron hand what would he be replaced by. I do not use orders in my air cav but would kell and creed be okay or just basic guy ?
