Can someone please clarify how Rending works against vehicles. I know you add D3 to the strength of the weapon if you rend it but I just need some clarification.
This is what I assume happens: An Assault Cannon (S6) fires at a Predator (AV13). If I rolled a 6 to penetrate, nothing would happen, but because of the Rending, do I then add D3 to the overall penetration result, or is the first roll simply to see wherever I rend, then I roll for penetration? Sorry if it sounds hard to understand, it was the easiest way I could describe it.
