Some pictures of an ork fighta bomba I made out of pink insulation foam.
It took a few nights to finish and have three parts which slot together, the paint job isnt the best but it was quite hard to paint on the rough surface.
Tell me what you think of it.

Better than anything I can do. But it looks to clean. Not enough Orkyness!

Buy a Trukk box and use some of its armored siding to make it look more Orky and ramshackle. Use the wheels for some landing gear, the weapons for, well... an Orky array of weaponry.

Or a Battlewagon, that'd work too.

As it is, it looks a bit too clean-cut. Needs more dakka, too.

Otherwise, good model.

Agreed.

If I were you, I would cut out some little bits of plasticard made to look like sheets of torn up metal and glue them to random places on the fighta bomba. You could paint them different colors to simulate the pieces were gotten off of different vehicles; it would make it look more ramshackle. Also, you should add some silver paint chips to random places all over it. As of right now, it is far too clean for an Ork vehicle. The build is good though!

Havent but the gun on the round turret at the back, and as for the other parts i can't stick ant thing on the wings (guns, scraps of plastic, other things) as it wouldent fit when i take it apart.

^^^ Have you considered splitting the wings into two sections? Meeting in the middle of the fuselage, you wouldn't really lose any strength from your current design, you could easily slice through with a craft knife, and being able to insert each wing from its own side means you can add gubbins aplenty.

In general, I'm amazed at the quality considering it's all insulation foam, but I feel like by limiting yourself only to that material, you're handicapping yourself. You've got a great shape roughed out that could become a super-spiffy model if you built a detailed shell up around it. If it's a matter of not wanting to expend the effort, then I understand, but I don't buy your excuse. Get back to building!

Looks Pretty Good, But as Hazard and Farseer Said, It's too clean! Ork Inventions are Meant To Look Scruffy because the Mek just hammers all the bitz together and hopes for the best!

I like the idea of splitting the wings - like oadie said, more weaponry and metal! and does it glide? I wouldn't be able to help myself from finding out!

...urrrr... I dunno

I think a bit more random welding and plating would be nice, but otherwise it's A for Awesome.

I used scrap metal from soda cans and cut them into jagged bits to make armor for my little brother's Stompa. I think that would work well on this too.
