I'm working on a new BA list, and after a few iterations, this is what i've got. Advise on flaws, things that are lacking, or errors (mathematical or rules) are appreciated. Seth and the Death company are transported via the Stormraven.


HQ:
Chapter Master Gabriel Seth. 160pts

Elites:
Sanguinary Guard w/ 2 plasma pistols, Death Masks, and the Chapter Banner. 250pts

Troops:
10 Assault Squad w/ 2x Melta , Melta Bomb &Power Fist. 240pts.
10 Assault Squad w/ 2x flamer, lightning claw. 215pts.
8 Death Company w/ 2 Power weapons, Infernus/Plasma pistol, 2 power fists, and Lemartes, Guardian of the Lost. 420pts


Heavy Support:
Stormraven Gunship w/ Twin-linked Lascannon, Twin-linked Multi-melta, Extra armor. 215pts.

Its a good list, I cant wait for the Storm Raven model to be released so i can get myself atleast 2.

I would consider adding some priests to this list, give them jump packs and then stick them with the Assult squads for a truely nasty unit.

The only real problem that I have with this list is the Storm Raven and the Death Company, you are throwing roughly half your points into 10 units. Its the same reason I'm not a fan of Terminators in Landraiders. My thinking is that you could field 30 more Assult Marines for what your throwing into your 10 units. YMMV.

You've got a lot of point sinks in this army, nearly 900 points worth actually.

Sanguinary Guard have the problem of lack of invulnerable save. Fire plasma at them or dice them up with power weaps and they die, quickly. If you're going to take them then take them in paired units.

Death Co are a massive point sink taking up a valuable troop slot and don't even score!

The single Storm Raven will be easy for your opponent to target prioritise. It's the only armour in the army so all anti tank weapons will be pointing at it and whatever is inside won't then get far. Take in pairs.

I would consider those point sink units, probably ditch the Death Co more than likely and definately grab some Priests as Catyrpelius said.
