I believe it comes to 2495pts

Ok, so here's the reasoning; the Techpriests and Librarian stay in Stormravens w/ Dreads in the back. The Land Raider stays in DS. The 3 Stormravens unleash all missiles (including Typhoon if possible) 1st turn from the back of the board. Then turbo- boost forward 24" 2nd turn firing 1 weapon (PotMS). 3rd turn the Land Raider MAY be down but any way all occupants of the Stormravens disembark and do all phases as the Stormravens won't have moved. Then batter.

I have been toying around with Librarians for a while now and have chosen the Termie Armour and Storm Shield as they only have power armour and 2 wounds w/ no invulnerable.
Techpriests are there to repair all vehicles automatically. With 3 Servo- Arms and a Servo Harness.

1: Reduce the Death Company to about 5-10 models. You need Tactical Marines otherwise in 66% of missions, you cannot win unless you absolutely table your opponent. You need some scoring units.

2: I can see why you would want Techpriests but they're only real use would be to repair the Stormravens and Dreads. If this is what you want then they will never be able to keep up with them, and moving along to keep up and repair the vehicles makes the Plasma Cannons useless.

3: Take some Power Weapons in your Death Company unit. Take out 3 members and then you can fit 4 Power Weapons into the unit.

4: At 2500 points, you will be seeing some serious armour, and you have almost nothing that will be effective at hammering AV14. Give the Stormravens Multi Meltas, change the Blood Talons to Blood Claws and give your Death Company Infernus Pistols.

Much better. For the 70 points remaining you could put both DC Dreads in Pods. Or you could buy some CC upgrades for the Death Company.

Well only having 2 troop scoring units that are 5 deep, you may have trouble with objective games still. I know 3 Stormravens are drool, but maybe put a tac squad or two in as well, 90 points for each 5 man tac squad that greatly beefs up your objective takers. and do not forget Stormravens die fairly easily to Lascannon fire with that big 12 armor all around. chances are one of them will be dead first turn (if you do not go first)

If I am at the back of the board I am hoping to be in intervening cover and maybe out of range of anti armour.

Picked 3 options:

1. 5 Scouts= 75
2. Power weapon assortment (ie maybe power fists or thunder hammers to Death Company)
3. Sanguinary Priest w/ Power Weapon= 65

The Sanguinary Priest sounds like the best option.
