Can a model take advantage of general's leadership for purposes of spirit leech?

Unless it states only unmodified, i dont see why not.

only their own, as using the general's would be modifying it.

That was my thought. The argument against was that the general's leadership _is_ their leadership when within range. So it's not modifying it - it is using its leadership, which is currently the generals. it's not a plus or a minus, its a replacement.

IS your leadership you are testing on different ot the one on your profile? then your leadership has been modified.

If it states a model's own, unmodified leadership, I always assume it means just that: That model's own, unmodified leadership. No general, if Skaven no Rank Bonus, etcetera.
