I will also be interested in any tournaments you have. It is about a three hour drive to the Alsace area from where I live, but we have a group of english speaking 40k players in the Heidelburg, Germany area that is about two hours or so from your location.

I'm really happy to hear that there is a gaming group relatively close to Basel, but unfortunately Stuttgart is too far for me for casual games. Are all your members in Stuttgart, or are there some spread further out?

@ Ashrag: Well that's exactly what I wanted to hear. Now, I have a citadel gaming table as well as a couple pieces of various terrain but nothing is completely painted or finished yet. Would you know of a place with gaming facilities around Basel? I'd probably be free on weekends.

There is FLGS in Basel - but I don't know whether they have the facilities for a game or not (Fantastic Empire in Aeschenvorstadt 37). I will try to check that out during lunch break sometime this week.

Since we (Stuttgart gaming club) already hold a tournament 2 times a year.. maybe i can convince the others to have 40k included.
But it would be most likely in february or march.
Thats the best i can think of right now.

No problem. This is completely relevant after all, because you're quite close to the area.
What time in the morning do you usually start at? (I want to see if I can go there on the day or if I need a hotel or something.)
