I am disappointed these days in GW not putting together more bundles of Product for a slightly discounted rate. I know this is not a 40K forum but i'm going to use an example of SM (Sorry!)
A good Base line for £50m pretty good value!

If we take this to the logical conclusion, then this will be the future boxed set, £50 for 3 marines. BARGAIN!
It is massively disappointing that they are phasing out bundles, and only seem to produce them when they are producing/releasing a new edition. It would be good to see each race in WHFB and WH40K have 2 alternative and complimentary Battleforces. It would save us all a fortune and it would probable mean I would stop buying my MINI's from alternative sources e.g Websites, Swap Forums and Ebay!

Buying 2nd hand isn't too bad of an option.
Most of my stuff I probably baught 2nd hand or kit-bashed to make.

I started off my current army (eldar) with the 'aspect assault wave' box: 3 wave serpents, an autarch, 20 dire avengers, and 12 fire dragons (which were advertised as 10, so it was a nice bonus when they arrived!). Was about £150 value for £100, so the only time I've ever ordered from GW as opposed to an online retailer and felt good about it afterwards.

That's what I was thinking, that a lot of the bundles mentioned above were special releases from the Apocalypse launch (could be wrong, though). I don't think the battleforce boxes or whatever they are called are going anywhere soon. Certainly not down to 3 minis (although I understand that was a little hyperbole ).

Same, that and a windrider host as well (to make a jetseer council).
Truth be told, I miss the bundles. I tend to play fairly nonstandard armies, and for the most part the battleforces are extremely non-useful to me, etc.

I agree that the demise of bundles is unfortunate. I would happily pay £80 for a good Imperial Guard box set to supplement my SM Force. Nevermind, i'll have to wait for 40K 6th Edition!
