Im building my IG regiment and basing its background on originating from the Macharian shrine world.

Im having trouble deciding on a Unit symbol to represent the army that i can paint on all my equipment.

WHat symbols are associated with Macharius , or Macharia?

I don't know of anything in the fluff but Macharius is based on Alexander the Great so why not consider something associated with him eg the Vergina Sun. Or what about Macharius' head in profile like Alexander's coins. Or if you are going down the military leader route there's always Napoleon - instead of an "N" wreathed in laurels have an "M" instead.

Since he was Lord Solar, I'd start out with suns.

Use a sword and sun with a laurel wreath surrounding the the sword sun combo..
