So apparently we will not be playing 1.5k this upcomming weekend but instead a 1k "tourney" so now I need some constructive critisism of my 1k army list...so here it goes. The idea is to have a mobile gunline that can both take out transports and infantry. 2 Lascannons and 2 MMs will haave to deal with anything above AV12. At such a low pts limit I might be better of with some other power than Null Zone but Im having a hard time seeing what would replace it. Ill probably stick with it, better safe than sorry or what do you guys/gals think?
Anyway, without further ado, here is my first draft at a 1k list.
Libby (NullZone,Avenger) - 100
10xTacticals (ML,Flamer) - 170
Razorback (TLPG,LC) - 75
5xTacticals - 90
Razorback (TLPG,LC) - 75
Heavy:

I like it, the only thing I would consider is droping one typhoon for third Predator and then take a PC on your Tac squad. Another idea is to drop HB sponsons for 2 combi weapons but I doubt that will actually be a good idea...
I would definetly keep Null Zone (especially if you go a head with my proposed changes)

Yeah, I would really like a combiflamer on the squad which contains the flamer and the Libby. tripple templates ftw, not sure whether or not loosing 6 potential str 5 shots/turn will be worth 2 flame templates...

At points below 1500, I have found that the more bodies that you can field as Space Marines, the more liekly you are to win. I would consider going up to three full tactical squads, supported by 2 predators and the razorbacks.

I really dont see how loosing 2MM/ HF speeders and 2 Typhoons would be worth gaining 15 bodies that can be targeted by anti infantry weapons. My ability to deal out damage would be severly limited.
Droping one typhoon in order to get a second full tactcal squad and a combiflamer to go with that might however be a good idea

When it all comes down to it though, speeders are armor 10, and in this army are going to be a fairly high priority for your opponant to take out.
The key I've found to winning at low points with Space Marines is to make nothing in your army stand out as a target that says "I must take this out now". I've found out that a much more infantry instensive list makes things much wasier at lower points. Remember that by running 3 full tactical squads your going to gain 4 special weapons plus another Razorback, so your not looseing as much firepower as you think.
I'm not saying that your list wont work, I'm just saying that it is very very light on bodies at this point.

Null Zone at 1000 points..
How many models with Invulnerable Saves can an opponent field at 1000 points? not many.
Better to have your Librarian take 2 shooting powers. Avenger and Vortex to try and take out as many enemy as possible.
You're putting too much emphasis on your fast attack models.
The HF/MM are ok. but your typhoons are just going to hang back at the back of the field as huge points sinks.
Personally I'd ditch the typhoons and invest in another 5 man tactical and a razorback with T-L Lascannon

Correnus:
18 terminators are 820 pts, thats enough for 2 5 man scout squads, and a capn
HQ: something simple, chaplain with jump pack is nice.
[115 or less.]
Troop:
10 man tac squads, keep weapons simple
Ditto
[340 pt]
2 5-man tac squads. shotguns for MEQ, BP/CCW for Orkies.
[150 pt]
Heavy support:
Consider a whirlwind, or a vindicator [whirlwind is best for guard or OEQ.]
[less then 150]
FA:
10 man assault squad, is competitive ish,
I'd suggest 6 bikes and an attack bike. thats me though.

In 1000 point games, I seriously suggest you replace the LCs on the razorbacks with ass-cannons.
Not having a codex nearby, and not having looked it for a while, I'm sum this up simply...
Cheapish Bike Captain
4-5 Bikes
A landspeeder with a melta, extra weapon if you have the points
2x 10-man tac squads in asscannon razorbacks - take MLs for the heavy, or las if you can afford it. LRs won't bother you too much, they can be a liability in smaller games.

How would I gain 4 special weapons? Do you mean 4 special/heavy? I wouldnt loose that much firepower when stationary but I would loose alot of mobility. I think its a trade off but I prefer the mobility over extra bodies out in the open.
Personally I never take more than 2 full tactical squads in a 1500-1750pts army so I think this will suffice for 1k. If it doesnt I will try your approach.
Corennus:
Who will walk into 12" range of a Libby if he has VoD? He would also need to start outside of the RB in order to have a chance of using it.
I dont see how a 180pts unit with 60" threat range which fires 4 kraks or 4 frags+6 str 5 shots can be a huge pts sink? They give my a chance vs both hordes and transport. Something a TLLC with 5 MEQs wont.

How would that list deal with a horde army?
What do you guys think about this instead then? Still have a mix of mobility and long range AT and now some more troops as well.

He already has Avenger? MotA might be nice if he manages to get within a vehicle that he can hit on a +4. Its not a terrible power to take as is right now.
I would consider droping the Combi flamer in order to upgrade the MLs to PCs...

Ok, so I have been thinking about it and I think 3 third MM/HF speeder might actually be more useful than a Typhoon. Will give me enough pts to get a PG on one squad aswell as combi weapon on both squads. With a Combi Plasma and a PG I will definetly keep NullZone

For 1000 points your list is about as good as its gonna get. You have a lot of solid units in it and most of the advice thus far has been IMHO personal taste. At 1000 points if you drop anything that you already have and replace it with something else your just trading one set of pros and cons for another. SM and other elite armies simply have trouble bringing in all the tools to the table and have to make tough choices.
You have a solid HQ which compliments the shooty aspect of your list with null zone which works from a transport.
Your troops can take up to 3 points and have as much fire power as your can realistically pack in with the razorbacks. If you add more your just going to have to sacrifice fire support else where.
Your fire support elements in FA and HS can tackle just about anything that can get thrown at you giving you tools to deal with troops, transports, tanks and MC's.
This is a balanced list. If you change stuff around I'm afraid at best you will have a different balanced list.
