Subject: What units fit the theme of a stirland river patrol force
My little cuz recently got into fantasy with a box of empire State Troops and after looking at some of the provinces decided he wanted to get Stirland or more preciesly the Stirland River Patrol, so he asked me what units would fit the theme and as a high elf player I have no idea so I would really appreciate ideas from some loyal dakkites.
Thanks in advance

This doesn't really belong in tactics, army lists or general discussion would be better.
taking up the mission

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

I guess lots of Halberd armed state troops wood be fitting. As they could pass for billhooks/boarding axes. Handgunners, pretty much most troops except knights would fit into this. Would make for a a good infantry and artillery force theme. You could say the men and artillery are recalled from their normal partols on shipping to participate in a land campaign. Flagellants and a war priest would go well as well. You could model them to represent repentant prisoners form the ships hold.
