I was perusing my local toy store and saw a message on the side of one of the new clear versions of the nerf guns that said "Stampede 9.9.10" and looked it up. Turns out they're making a new nerf gun that reminds me a lot of the "Army of Two" franchise because its automatic, has a shield, an extended clip, and areas you can add other attachments to. Sure its $54.99 but it looks so amazing and I really do want one despite being a 20 year old. I also find that people that purchase nerf guns are usually in the armed forces or little kids.
So, what is your favorite nerf gun, super soaker, memory involving these toys, and if you buy them are you in the military or relatively young/
My favorite memory of a super soaker is when I was young and got a backpack that could store the water and looked similar to a flamethrower in design. I would use it to thwart my enemies(neighbors) when they needed to refill their super soakers. Although my dog decidedly ended its use by putting holes in it, I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Still have the Beretta and MP5.
And a cap firing mini-gun.
The paper strip variety (old folks might remember) from before the little plastic cap version.)
I had a little blue pistol that fired those paper strip caps, nothing that small should have made such a loud noise! 'Twas awesome.

I had some type of super soaker that had a shield on it. No trigger though, you had to turn a crank to get it to fire. It was Red. Thats all I remember.

It's roughly as loud as an Ork shoota, which IMO is one of its attractions. You can probably put shots out faster with a pump action blaster, but you'd risk jamming or breaking something in the process. It shoots fast and hard enough that if you've got someone supporting you with a pump action/bolt action blaster with a drum mag (40 rounds iirc) there's not a lot anyone can do about it until you've run out of shells.
Lawl. At my old flat, when we just got the place but before we moved any stuff in, we nerfed it up for almost a solid week. A whole house, empty except for cardboard boxes, nerf guns and foam dart caches. AWWWWWW, YEAH.

This vid shows it firing.
BUT
With some clever ingenuity youll get better results. And I just want to add I ALSO have the vulcan. And I shoot the hell out of my kids. Its only fair since they wake me up early and all that jazz
Holy fething gak! I'm going to have to fluff around with the batteries now. I was already planning making a double chain (for 60 rounds), but this seals it. Also, I wonder why the second clip you showed is the only one to show the magazine the ammo belt goes in? Works much better/faster with that on. I guess people just want to show off the belt.
Yea there was a much better video on there a month or so ago with a guy just going with higher and higher volts. Before the poor gun fried it was just pissing darts out. Hilarious. But yea a small boost in power and those vulcans can kick ass.
Ive though about doing it, I used to do the same with powerwheels , and that always ended in awesome outcomes. Endless burnouts on pavemaent, near 10mph speeds on a powerwheel is just epic

I've got some pump action BuzzBee ones, they're chain-fed and look a bit like the Morita from SST. They kinda suck though. The "blast-zookas" they make are sweet though, especially at close range.
Not at all. When they work, they work great. But when they don't... The ammo-chains fall apart if you move the gun too quickly, as they just snap together. The darts FALL OUT of the chain if you aim down. And sometimes, they just do not want to be pumped. YMMV though.
But the buzzbee blastzooka kicks ass, takes names and leaves you sore after a close range shot. It doesn't have any of the problems the other buzzbee toys have though, but it does require a lot of pumping to gain sufficient air pressure. I'd also reccomend the double barrelled shotgun they make. It works great, is just plain badass and will take any ammo, buzzbee or nerf.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, the nerf bolt action sniper rifle (the newer, blue one, not the older yellow one) KICKS ASS. You should all get one, plus the scope and reflex sights. OMFG it's fun. And it takes the big barrel magazine from the raider.
